Keith Hellyer BSc

Managing Director

Since Keith can remember he was always been involved in some form in the everyday workings of his father’s successful construction company. His love of  business management led him to undertake a business studies diploma, however he also had a passion for the environment and therefore continued his study at Middlesex University onto a BSC honours degree within the discipline of Environmental Management.

Keith now holds the position of MD and specialises in the environmental disciplines of the company, especially areas such as waste management and sustainable material assessments.

Geoffrey Hellyer

Contracts Director

Geoffrey started his working life as a shipwright apprentice in Portsmouth dockyard duringthe 1960s. He then progressed into local industry as a shuttering carpenter with a concreting firm for some years before starting his own carpentry and building company which developed into C&G Building Contractors during the 1980s. Geoffrey’s extensive experience as both a highly skilled carpenter and builder has been instrumental to the success of this well established firm. Geoffrey now takes on the a Contracts Management role ensuring projects are run professionally and delivered on time and on budget.

Christine Hellyer

Accounts Director

With over 35 years’ experience Christine deals with all the accounts, VAT and administration side of the business. Having worked in accountancy for many years she has an excellent working knowledge of running a business. She manages sub-contractor payroll, invoicing and company taxation.

Brian Redwood FRICS

Senior Surveyor

Even although he has passed retirement age. His work over the years has been very varied including Royal palaces, local authority public toilets, twenty storey blocks of flats, schools, shops and general housing. All having their own particular interest and peculiarity but never-the-less thoroughly enjoyed and remembered.

Andrew Hamilton-McGinty

Operations Manager

Andy’s background is in operational management and he thrives on developing and maintaining company procedures and plans. Having worked in both the construction and media industries, Andy has a sound knowledge of business systems and procedures. He also doubles up as our in-house Health and Safety Officer. He is currently undertaking an MBA and is frequently found on health and safety courses topping up his knowledge.
